WHO WE ARE
As a collective of artists and art enthusiasts, our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work as a Congolese-registered nonprofit organization in 2007, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch MUNVUK'ART. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.

our goals

-
Promote and enhance Congolese art and culture
-
Stimulate economic sovereignty and solidarity among our members
-
Encourage a spirit of creativity, sharing, and learning amongst the youth
-
Create a spirit of love and concordance with our community
-
Support the missions, movements, and programs of our partners and entities with shared missions for the well-being of our social and artistic life

SPREADING ENERGY AND JOY OF AFRICAN DANCE
Members participated in the tuSeo Festival --a French/Congolese comedy festival--by performing tam tam and African dance at the Institut Français

TEACHING THE NEXT GENERATION
We joined up with our partners at Butterfly, and local primary schools to host an educational event and march for the protection of the environment with the youth. Munvuk'art was humbled to be able to support this important cause and help teach the next generation how to sustain the beautiful parts of the planet. CELEBRATING A CHAPTER
We were invited to perform an improvised set of African dance and Tam Tam percussion at the inauguration of Prime Minister Makosso. Our members brought lots of joy, music, and movement to the event. Julian in particular made the guests laugh with his typical goofiness!
