1. Community Development
We believe that the creativity, historic customs, and togetherness of Congolese artists can inspire, encourage, and unite artists throughout the African continent. Which is why we are intentional about sharing our work with our neighbors. We host weekly community gatherings at the community center "Siege du Mukundzi Ngwaka" to reinvorogate the streets with African music, painting, dance, and… We invite community members of all ages to learn how to descend their hips to the floor and play a tribal rhythm with the tam tam percussion drums! These gatherings are ways to uplift one another, celebrate our artistic passions with neighbors, and preserve the uniqueness of Congolese heritage.

2. artistic workforce development
In partnership with CEFA, we are supporting the raw talent of Congo's aspiring artists through youth arts education, paid internships, and community workshops to stimulate intergenerational economic opportunity and wealth for artists to come.

3. place-
making
We are infusing the streets of Brazza and Congo more broadly with vibrant Congolese art! Over the past ten years, Munvuk'art has created a business that employs our artists and the students in our training programs to produce fresques, murals, performances, and exhibitions for local businesses, public spaces, and events. The majority of this revenue goes towards supporting the well-being of our students and members, expanding our programs, and providing our full -time staff with fair wages. Our previous clients include MTN, Axel, Bantu Beach, Takoma, and the Ministry of Cultural Tourist, Artistic, and Leisure Industry.
